Casual Transitional Style

I am slowly starting to transition my summer looks into fall appropriate attire. For me, that starts with my footwear.  I have mentioned before that lately I am gravitating more towards flats and sneakers.  I really love styling casual looks and I’m so happy that I started to mix things up a bit more in terms of my style!  It really feels great to give the feet a rest and push the heels off to the side. :)

I decided to pair this grey shirt-dress with my new white Keds for a nice mix of comfy & chic.   I really love this combo and the way that sneakers are becoming such a wardrobe staple.  They seriously look so cute with everything!  Sporty looks are totally in right now.  The weather is still warm, [like in the 90s warm] but it will be cooling down soon.  A great way to start transitioning your looks is by adding in a lightweight jacket, which is what I did with my denim one.  Instead of wearing it, I tied it around my waist to bring a fun element to the outfit and of course, an ode to the 90s.  Since everything seemed to be a neutral palette, I added in a pop of red with my cross-body bag and lipstick.  Would you wear this combo?
