Nayanatara was slapped by Tamil Villan Pasupathi and not Prabhu Deva or Simbu. He doesn't have any rivalry with Nayan but all this is a part of shooting for Sekhar Kammula's Anamika.
According to sources Sekhar was unhappy with a slapping scene of Nayan by Pasupathi. While he was discussing the same with Pasupathi showing the monitor, Nayanatara who came there felt the same after watching the output.
She at once insisted Pasupathi to slap her really and when Pasupathi did so in the reshoot,the scene came naturally. Entire film unit appreciated her commitment.
