Happy Thursday loves!  What a crazy week it has been. Not sure if you followed along on my social media channels yesterday, but I had a pretty big day with Kohls for the launch of the new Reed Krakoff collection!  I had so much fun and I really enjoyed sharing some of the moments with you guys.  I will be sharing more about it in a blog post soon too.  I am leaving for the airport at 4am for Charleston [too early] and I am seriously in zombie mode right now.  I have not packed one single thing [no surprise there] but am really crossing my fingers to fit everything I need in a carry-on as mentioned in one of my recent travel posts.  At least I know what I am wearing to the wedding, thankfully. I look forward to sharing this little four day trip with you all!

Ok now on to this floral matching set.  You might remember this blazer that I wore Easter weekend.  It came with the matching shorts, but it was obviously not warm enough yet for me to wear both pieces together.  Recently we hit the 80 degree mark and I just couldn't wait to put these on.  I definitely stayed away from floral print for awhile and actually most prints in general.  I think my style was becoming more about neutrals and minimal pieces, so it's really fun to mix things up again.  I have to be honest, I shot this look twice. The first time was a complete fail.  I wore a plain white tee tucked in to give it more of a casual feel and since the shorts are super low rise, it looked horrible in photos.  I also had a shoulder bag and my hair was curly.  Let's just say I hated every photo lol.  So the next day with a pair of fresh eyes, I tweaked the styling and realized that a shorter top worked much better with the low rise shorts.  The clutch was way better than the shoulder bag too.  Oh, and my straight hair complimented the look the best.  So whenever you style an outfit that doesn't seem to work, just take a step back and think of other ways to make it come together.  It's all about trial and error!

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope that all of you have a great weekend. <3
