90s Vibes

Hey loves, Happy Monday!  Hope your weekend was nothing short of amazing, especially with the gorgeous weather we had.  Mine was a bit low key as I spent some time with my niece, did a little shopping and tried to work on some things before my trip to Charleston later this week.  Why is it that whenever you are about to go away there are a million things that you need to check off your to-do list?  Happens to me every single time, although that's also mostly because I wait till the last minute for everything.  It's just how I operate! 
I was channeling some major 90s vibes when I paired this denim wrap skirt with this lace-up top.  Can I just say how happy I am to see all of these older trends coming back to the surface and being worn in new ways?  I mean of course there are some trends that I wish never saw the light of day again lol, but for the most part I've been loving this 90s comeback and even the 70s.  I should have held on to all of my denim skirts!  I got this one almost two months ago and was patiently waiting for the weather to warm up so that I could wear it.  I was going to bring it with me to Charleston to wear during the day and probably still will, but once the temps hit the 80s over the weekend I just couldn't wait to throw it on.  Besides wearing a dress on Easter, it's been quite some time since I've been able to let my legs come out and breathe! 
  I found this lace-up top at H&M on my most recent shopping trip and just instantly fell in love with this simple combo.  Tops like this are so great for pairing with many things and even though it has long sleeves, it's super lightweight. I am really into all things lace-up at the moment too, especially when it comes to shoes.  Literally just can't get enough!  What about you?  In terms of the styling, I decided to go with another white, denim and nude combo.  It's got such a fresh & clean feel for the spring season.  Even though this look is simple, I think the skirt and top still make an impact.
