RANDOM THOUGHTS 24.06.2016

June is nearly over, wow, we are half way through the year which has me thinking that life just keeps rolling along with a few trials and tribulations throughout.

June has been a little overwhelming with myself being diagnosed with Type A pneumonia ..... I did not even know I was sick. But 3 lots of antibiotics later and a stronger asthma medication I can say I am better. Yay!!

My heart has been in a little turmoil as I come to grips with my little 6 year old 2nd cousin, Max, in hospital at Westmead. He has been there for 2 months and still going with operation after operation. He is a champion with loads of rehabilitation ahead considering he has had a foo and a few toes amputated. Please keep Max in your thoughts and prayers.

I have been cooking up a storm lately on my days off. Donna Hay's Basics to Brilliance has inspired me to be creative and cook different meals. I shared the slow cooked beef brisket last week so keep an eye out for more.

I love bread so I love to try anything new. Shopping at my local market yesterday I discovered the onion and poppy seed sourdough which is super delicious.

Have you tried anything new this week?

May your weekend sparkle with happy moments. V x
