Poncho Season

It really is the season of the poncho!  Whenever I put one on, I instantly feel like I am wearing a cape.  If only I had super powers too.  With Halloween coming up at the end of the week, I guess I am in someway channeling my inner superhero.  Speaking of, I have no idea what costume to create this year! I literally always wait until the day before or the day of, so hopefully I will come up with something good.

Just like my sweater collection grows, so do my ponchos.  I know I mentioned it in a previous post, but I was never really into them until recently.  It seems as though I can't get enough of them now.  They're really easy to wear and look just as good paired with a dress/skirt as they do with pants.  I love the grey/black color blocking in this one.  It's become a new favorite fall combo of mine.  I have been into more of a neutral palette lately.  Just can't help myself!  Although I always find a way to throw in some color too.  I've also been into grey jeans too and recently picked this pair up.  I love how this all came together!
How amazing are these boots? I have wanted a pair of SW boots for what feels like forever.  They are a staple piece for sure and I will definitely have these for years with the proper care.  My friend's exact words to me were, "You will wear these boots for the rest of your life."  I got them at a breast cancer awareness gala last week and have already worn them four times.  You will probably see me in these forever.  No shame!
