HEALTH + VITALITY SMOOTHIE RECIPE'S

I just love a good smoothie and it is even better when you make it yourself. Smoothies are the easy way of ensuring you get your daily intake of essential vitamins and minerals you may not already have in your diet. Better than taking a supplement any day and super natural and pure.

When Sally Obermeder and Maha Koraiem launched their super green smoothies book online I was super quick to down load it and loved it, but found it harder to commit myself to follow the recipes. Last week the book became available at bookstores and I snapped it up. I am super excited to have the book available where it will take pride and place in my kitchen.

My youngest daughter and I are avid fans and try to have a smoothie everyday. Miss B comes home from school everyday and makes her traditional smoothie jam packed with nutrition and vitality.

Miss B's Vitality Smoothie

1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup frozen raspberries
1/2 cup muesli
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup yoghurt
ice cubes

Breakfast Smoothie

I cup frozen mango
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/4 cup muesli
1 banana
1/2 cup milk
large handful baby spinach leaves
1/4 cup yoghurt
