Helen Joyce Gabriel Flanagan is an English actress and model best known for playing the character of Rosie Webster in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street

Television work

Flanagan began playing Rosie Webster in Coronation Street in 2000, when she was ten years old. In 2006, she was nominated for the award of "Best Dramatic Performance from a Young Actor or Actress" in the British Soap Awards, losing to Ellis Hollins. In 2007, she was nominated for "Villain of the Year" at the same awards, this time losing to Coronation Street co-star Jack P. Shepherd, who plays David Platt. In October 2011, Flanagan announced that she would leave Coronation Street in February 2012 to pursue other interests

Personal life

Flanagan previously had a relationship with Manchester City player Scott Sinclair.

In December 2012, Flanagan spoke of her battle with depression and anxiety, and revealed that she was on medication for attention deficit disorder and bipolar disorder.
