Yesterday my niece, Mia Angel, was baptized and I became her Godmother. I am so thankful and feel so blessed to have this little girl in my life because she truly is the biggest gift from God. Words can't even describe how much I love her. She is the closest thing I've got to having a child of my own and all I want to do is love her, teach her, guide her and protect her. Yesterday was so special and it was amazing to share it with our family. Of course the only one missing was our dad. Special moments like this are always extremely difficult without him, but I have been feeling his presence so much lately. Over the weekend I had to go to my grandparents house to sort through a bunch of my dad's things and damn, it was hard as hell. But it did make me feel even more connected to him and I know he is with us in spirit. With all of the evil that is constantly happening in our world, days like yesterday are such a great remainder that there is still so much love and so much good that happens too.
After the christening, we went to Son Cubano to celebrate with family. These photos aren't the best quality, but I wanted to share them anyway because it was such a special day!

Look at those cheeks! I found her baptism outfit on Etsy! Love those little shoes.
My mom is the happiest grandma!
And here's a little snapchat video with my munchkin.
This little girl is so very loved and I am honored to be her Godmother. I look forward to so many more amazing moments in her life. <3
