What I Wore: A Dress Made For Me

I've purchased some excellent pieces from the online shop eShakti ("We design, you customize"). So when they wrote and offered to send me a customized dress, I was happy as a cat with an almost-empty tuna can. EShakti features hundreds of fetching tops, skirts and dresses. And they will customize your piece for you, in sleeve type, length, body measurements and more. I chose this Cotton Knit Fit and Flare number in cobalt. It is now renamed the PDiane, at least at my house.

I requested a few alterations to my dress's basic pattern: I opted for short rather than cap sleeves, and a lower hemline than the model. The sewing is beautifully done, the fabric has a substantial hand, and the fit is, well, like it was made for me. Well done, eShakti.

I love the color, the fabric and the shape. And pockets, we all love pockets. I'm wearing my brown suede

peep-toe pumps (similar) and thrifted tassel necklace (sim).

The dress pairs nicely with my Trina Turk coat of many colors (sim).

Have a look at all of eShakti's offerings; their dresses have a retro vibe and are especially charming.

Stay fabulous,
