It might be only just December but that doesn't matter. Party season has officially begun. I'm already nursing heel induced injuries, I've started finding glitter everywhere and I'm planning maximum wear out of my party dress collection.
My first Christmas party of the year was on Saturday, in Manchester, which I went to with some of the girlies from work. We stayed in the Manchester Palace Hotel, which is pretty stunning if not definitely haunted - but we had a rolltop bath, I'll take ghosts in exchange for that!
I wore a new dress from Modcloth which I got in the States. I don't think these photos do it justice, to be honest - in person it's a beautiful fit, an awesome cut and a lovely colour - this shade of green might not be everyone's favourite, but I love how different it is. Also, green + red hair = win.
It was an awesome night - there was even a DIY photobooth and a viking hat, two things which I've discovered that I love. If that viking hat had been around at the end of the night, I would have taken it home. Sadly someone else had the same idea (and the one at Erin's wedding fit better, anyway).
I'm not gonna lie, it was a rather drunken affair. In some of the photos, my teeth look purple from all the red wine I was quaffing - such a great look. But, you know, it was red wine. Who can turn that down when it's just sitting out on the tables like that?
