Jessica Claire Biel-Timberlake (born March 3, 1982) is an American actress, model and singer. She began her career as a vocalist appearing in musical productions until she was cast as Mary Camden in the family-drama series 7th Heaven which she achieved recognition for.[4] The series till now is the longest-running series that has ever aired on The WB channel and is the longest-running family drama in television history.[5] In 1997, she won the Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a Feature Film – Supporting Young Actress for her role in Ulee's Gold.

Biel has since starred in many films, including The Rules of Attraction (2002), The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003), Blade: Trinity (2004), Stealth (2005), I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry (2007), The A-Team (2010), New Year's Eve (2011), and Total Recall (2012). She appeared in the thriller indie film Emanuel and the Truth about Fishes in 2013.

Jessica Biel was born on March 3, 1982, in Ely, Minnesota.[3] Her mother, Kimberly (née Conroe), is a homemaker and spiritual healer. Her father, Jonathan Biel, worked for GE and was also an entrepreneur and business consultant.[6][7][8] She is of German, French, English, Irish, and Choctaw ancestry[9][10] and has a younger brother, Justin, born in 1985.[11][12] Biel's family moved frequently during her childhood, living in Texas, Connecticut, and Woodstock, Illinois, before finally settling in Boulder, Colorado where she attended Fairview High School. While growing up, Biel played soccer[13] and also trained as a gymnast.[8] From 2000 to 2002, she attended Tufts University.

From 2004 to 2006, Biel dated actor Chris Evans.[32] She then started dating singer and actor Justin Timberlake in January 2007.[33][34] After four years together, the couple announced their split in March 2011.[35][36] However, by fall 2011, the couple reunited, and in late December 2011, Timberlake proposed to Biel in the mountains of Jackson, Wyoming.[37][38][39] The couple married on October 19, 2012, at the Borgo Egnazia resort in Fasano, Italy
