BEC & BRIDGE X INHABIT

To celebrate the arrival of Bec & Bridge to the InHabit space at Westfield Doncaster, I’ve selected my top picks from their new collection to share with you.

The thing I love most about the Inhabit space, is that shoppers are constantly greeted with amazing and changing Australian design talent. Unlike any ordinary store, InHabit is a standalone retail experience that allows designers who are not otherwise represented within Westfield for a limited time only.

As always, I find myself drawn to white, and Bec & Bridge, certainly fulfil this brief. Here are my favourite looks (all available now at Westfield Doncaster InHabit).

LOOK 1
From day to night, the culotte is a statement piece which will see you through spring/summer. This polka-dot print can be worn easily with most colours, but I can't go past matching it with this black, off the shoulder top.

LOOK 2 This dress has to be one of my absolute spring/summer must-haves. floaty and feminine with just the right amount of skin. 70s retro-glam eat your heart out. 

LOOK 3

Bec & Bridge are masters of the bodycon dress, and this one is no exception. A very glamorous evening look - the cut and off-the-shoulder style is flattering on all figures.

ONE DRESS 2 WAYS FOR THE MELBOURNE CUP

The race that stops the nation - The Melbourne Cup is only a few days away. Have you bought your frock yet? It is a time for you to look your best and dress up with a frock you adore. You do not have to be attending the race, as there are functions and events worldwide for this special race day occasion. The only race day where I actually place a bet. I had the pleasure of attending this magnificent event with family and friends and boy it was an event worth attending for the glamorous and stylish sipping on champagne and having a ball. This is your time to shine!

Cold Shoulder

Sweater: Dynamite | Jeans: Forever21 [similar] | Shoes: Target | Hat: Dynamite | Bag: Apt9
I'm giving [and getting] the cold shoulder, literally!  It was actually quite windy when I wore this outfit over the weekend. Off-the-shoulder tops have definitely made a comeback this year as I have been seeing them everywhere.  I think that this is my first time wearing the style in sweater form.  I actually prefer it this way.  Tops like this can be tricky to wear, especially when figuring out the best strapless bra to wear, [I hate staples bras] but I found it much easier with this sweater.  I admit though that part of the time I might have been giving too much shoulder plus a bit extra if you know what I'm saying. Oops.  I love this chunky/slouchy knit though! 
Burgundy is one of my favorite colors during the fall and I really like how it looks when paired with grey, so I decided to keep this combo through out.  I cannot stop wearing these knee ripped jeans!  I added on the hat last minute just to give this outfit something extra as it seemed too plain without it.  Hats are seriously one of the best accessories to throw on this season.  They really help to elevate your looks.  As you can see, no sunglasses... yay!  I even put on lashes, which I haven't done in what feels like forever.  I admit though that they really help to make my eyes pop. I might have to wear them more often. :)
